They show well-preserved reliefs depicting scenes from the daily lives of the buried men – sporting events, hunting, rafting on a boat, or making offerings to the gods. Next, you’ll head to the city of El Minya, founded before the dynastic period. During the time of the Pharaohs, the city was an important center of trade, and during the time of the Ancient Kings, the name was changed to Menat Khufu, in honor of the founder of the Great Pyramid of Giza, as it was believed that he was born here.
