The Hurghada Museum of Antiquities is located south of Hurghada in an area of 100,000 metres, including 3,000 metres, to display 2,000 original artefacts at a total cost of £160 million.

Among the most important exhibits of the museum are a statue of Queen Merit Amun, a painting of Princess Fatima Ismail, a Torah casket and jewelry of the high family. The surprise of the discovery is the 24 pieces of the sunken ship “Saadan” in the corner of the Red Sea, the wreck of which is located 5.3 km south of Hurghada on the Red Sea coast, where the wrecks are located on the shores of the Red Sea. at the foot of the coral reefs north of the Saadana Islands at a depth of 27 to 45 meters, it was 50 meters long and 18 meters wide and could carry 900 tons, and was also equipped with a unique set of works of art that included basalt and ceramic vessels, musical instruments, perfumes, fishing tools and a kitchen.

The museum works to highlight the beauty of the exhibits displayed in it and has been designed in accordance with international standards for museums, and the exhibition scenario works with this, as well as the implementation of a special daily program for cultural activities that take place in the recreational area around the museum building.
