Fishing + Nature Reserve
Explore Tours
Only weekend travel offers you to combine a wonderful boat trip with fishing and a visit to a coral reserve. On the ship of our company, accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will spend a day that you will remember for a very long time. For those wishing to take part in fishing, fishing is organized in the first half of the day. You will master the skills of fishing and understand what a gambling activity it is! The team will cook the caught fish for you for lunch. The ship will then sail to a coral sanctuary. Tourists’ access there is limited, and this makes it possible to see the rarest inhabitants of the deep sea. The ship has the necessary equipment for snorkeling: masks and fins, which you will be offered to use to enjoy the spectacle of the unique underwater world. The Red Sea is home to about a thousand species of fish, including unique ones, and about 150 species of corals. The high temperature of the water and its transparency create ideal conditions for the development of underwater flora and fauna. Stretching along the entire Egyptian coast, the coral reefs are a kind of life center, attracting a variety of fish. Moreover, more than 20 percent are endemic, that is, they are found only here. You feel like you find yourself in a fairy-tale land with bizarre underwater rocks, fantastic coral castles, where its inhabitants live their own lives and only allow you to open its secrets. The variety of shapes and designs of corals is amazing: round, flat, needle-shaped, branched into many mysterious passages, they fascinate with the richness of colors and shades. This amazing country has its own emperor: the fish – Napoleon (colloquially Roux). However, he was crowned not because of his strength and power (although he reaches two meters in length and can weigh up to 180 kg), but for the characteristic protrusion on his head. If you wish, you can guess the resemblance to the legendary cocked hat of the French conqueror. And what about the names of the fish, which speak for themselves: angelfish, surgeons, clowns, sultanas, butterflies, parrots! If you wish, you can see both a moray eel and a green turtle. Dolphins often appear in the water area of the reserve, which then accompany your ship almost to the shore. During the tour, our guide will tell you a lot of interesting things, you will get answers to questions: why is the Red Sea the saltiest in the world, how many rows of teeth does a shark have, what fish change sex in the process of life, how do corals grow?
