Excursion to Wadi Al Gamal National Park from Marsa Alam

We will pick you up at your hotel in Marsa Alam; You will recognize our driver by the sign with your name in his hands.

Today you will visit  the Wadi El Gamal National Park, a desert area with green and lush vegetation, home to many and endangered animals. For example, you will be able to see Dorcas gazelles, African wild donkeys and sheep, Nubian ibex. In the mangroves that stretch along the coastal zone for several kilometers, numerous birds have found their homes.  among them are hawks, ivory gulls and ospreys. In the coral reefs, not far from the shore, turtles and dugongs live on the grassy bottom. In addition to all this, in Wadi, you can visit the historical ruins of the Greco-Roman period, because a long time ago this area was not only part of the caravan route, but also a place for the extraction of emeralds.

You will be able to explore the park by jeep or by camel. In addition, you will visit a Bedouin village, have a delicious lunch and a lot of interesting information about this people.

At the end of the day, our driver will take you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
