5-day camel safari “Deep into the Sinai”

Day 1: Arada Canyon – El Gouna Plateau

Early in the morning, our representative will meet you at the reception of your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Taba or Nubeibah. If you are staying in a hotel in another city in Egypt or in Cairo, we can arrange a transfer for you to Sinai.

By jeep you will go to the beautiful Arada Canyon, which is also known as  the Double Canyon. You’ll see strange rock formations in a variety of colors, and we’re sure you’ll love it! Of course, the hike will not be easy, but our experienced guides will always come to your aid. Finally, drive up to a steep sand dune and if you feel like it, you can try to measure it. This area is also rich in interesting ancient rock paintings,  which you will certainly see. It’s time for lunch, after which you will meet your new guides and companions – well-trained camels. On them you will make your ascent to the top of the El Gouna plateau, which is 1700 meters high and about 50 kilometers long. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view of the mountains, the walls of which are mostly red and yellow, and bizarre forms of weathering are also often found. Here you will set up camp,  You’ll have dinner and spend the first night.

2nd day: El Gouna Plateau – Farsh El Gouna – Wadi Zalagha – Zaranig Canyons

After breakfast, you will continue your journey through the picturesque field of Fersh El Gouna and Wadi Zalagha, where you will see the most beautiful nature. There will be a short stop for lunch on the way. In the afternoon, set up camp at the largest entrance to the canyons of Zaranig. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

3rd day: Zaranig Canyons

The Zaranig Canyons are made up of three huge and deep sandstone canyons. When it rains, the water flows down to the coast of Nuweiba. Here you will surely enjoy not only the magnificent nature that surrounds you, but also the peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The next camp will be near the second entrance to the canyons.

4th day: Zaranig Canyons – Nabq Abu Tureifa

Today you will explore the second canyon, after which you will go to Nabq Abu Tureifa, where a wonderful panoramic view will open from the top of the mountain. Set up camp at the bottom of the wadi.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Overnight at the campsite.

5th day: Nabq Abu Tureifa – Wadi Tbeik – Zig-Zag Canyon – Wadi Arada

After breakfast, you will hike through the picturesque Wadi Tbeik, where you will have lunch in the shade of acacia trees. After that, your path will lie down to the Zig-Zag Canyon, a narrow sandstone canyon with a sandy floor that passes through sheer walls and large rock formations. The exit leads to Wadi Marra with numerous acacia trees. In the afternoon,  reach Wadi Arad, where you will be met by a car that will take you back to the hotel. This concludes our excursion program.
