Day 1: Cairo – Faiyum Oasis – Wadi El Hitan
Early in the morning, our representative will meet you at your hotel in Cairo to embark on an exciting journey through the Faiyum Oasis. If you are staying in a hotel in another city in Egypt, such as Luxor or on the Red Sea coast, we can arrange a transfer to Cairo or directly to the oasis. The Faiyum Oasis is the largest oasis in Egypt in terms of area. The city of Faiyum is considered to be the oldest city in the country. Not far from the city, you will see the remains of the pyramid of Amenemhet III in Hawara and Senwosret II in Lahun. Another symbol of the Faiyum, invented by the Romans, is the water-lifting wheels powered by water from the canal. Have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Later you will visit the valley Wadi el-Hitan (“Valley of the Whales”). This vast area of caramel-colored rocks was once the bottom of the ocean, where giant fossils, skeletons, corals and shells of all kinds and sizes are now on display, including more than 250 skeletons of prehistoric whales. Dinner at the hotel.

2nd day: Faiyum Oasis – Wadi El Rayyan – Bahariya Oasis
After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Wadi El Rayyan Nature Reserve, where you will see two lakes in the middle of the desert in a beautiful green oasis with wonderful wildlife. Between the upper and lower lakes there are waterfalls. You will make a short stop at the foot of Mount El Mudawara so that you can see the beauty of the contrast of rough stones and golden desert with a blue lake in a secluded bay. Lunch at one of the local restaurants. In the evening you will arrive at the Bahariya Oasis, where you will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

3rd day: Bahariya Oasis
After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a jeep to Bahariya Oasis, the largest and most important oasis of the Western Desert. When you visit the town of Bawiti, you will see how the main crops (guava, mango, dates, olives) are grown, as well as some of the historical attractions of the city. The Greco-Roman necropolis, also known as the Valley of the Golden Mummies, contains a huge number of mummies. In the museum, surprise some mummies as well as sarcophagi painted with gold paint. Next, you will visit the remains of Ain Tibnya, the temple, clock of the reign of Alexander the Great, who is said to have passed through this oasis; the tomb of Banentiou, with its well-preserved coloured hieroglyphs and paintings; a temple in the Ain Muftella area with four chapels, the walls of which are about two meters high and built about 2600 years ago. Lunch awaits you in one of the local restaurants. The rest of the day is completely at your disposal and you can relax at the hotel or go for a walk. Dinner at the hotel.

4th day: Bahariya Oasis – Abu Muharriq
After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on an exciting jeep journey along the ancient caravan route to Ghard Abu Muharriq – a giant wandering dune, 500km long, covering a surface of about 6,000m2. They were able to really estimate its size only thanks to satellite images, because only from space you can see the dune in its entirety. On the way, make a stop for lunch (picnic). Enjoy the beautiful views all around you. In the evening you will set up camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night in a tent or under the open starry sky.

5th day: Bahariya Oasis – Jara Cave
After breakfast, you will drive through the dunes of Abu Muharriq to the famous Jara Cave (80 meters long and up to 17 meters deep). It contains huge stalactites and stalagmites, many of which reach about 6 meters! But the cave is not only a unique masterpiece of nature itself. Prehistoric cave paintings depicting animals and even humans have been discovered here. After the end of the acquaintance with the cave, You’ll set up camp and have dinner.

6th day: Jara Cave – Bahariya Oasis
After breakfast, you will begin your journey through the desert back to Bahariyah. On the way, make a stop for lunch (picnic). Dinner and overnight at the oasis hotel.

Day 7: Black and White Deserts
Early in the morning, you will take a jeep to the Black Desert, where you will see numerous rocks and hills covered with black basalt. Then you will go to the White Desert National Park. This desert was once the bottom of the ocean, but after the water receded, there were cross formations that formed bizarre landscapes of amazing beauty. Enjoy this unique landscape, the famous Crystal Mountain and the picturesque Agabat Valley, because you won’t find anything like it anywhere else. It is here that you will meet a new companion – a well-trained camel, on which you will continue your journey for the next few days. It’s a fun and unusual way to discover the desert, and a very special experience. Competent guides will accompany you throughout the tour. In the afternoon you will arrive at the campsite, where you will have dinner and spend the night in a tent or under the open starry sky.

8th to 12th day: Camel safari tour in the White Desert
During the camel safari tour, you will discover the wonders of the White Desert, an enchanting landscape with countless amazing rock formations and endless sands. Spend the nights camping. In the evening of the last day, you will say goodbye to the camel near the Bir Rigwa spring and drive back to Bahariya Oasis where you will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Overnight at the campsite in the White Desert, on the last day at the hotel in Bahariya.
Day 13: Bahariya Oasis – Cairo
After breakfast, drive back to your hotel in Cairo. This concludes our excursion program.
